Creek’s
signature women’s programs include instruction and
guided trips for
women only, in addition to occasional destination trips to
scenic and
trophy trout waters around the country.Packages can be customized to include other activities
such as hiking,
yoga, canoeing, and more. All instructors and guides for the women’s
programs
are women, including Otter Creek owner, Janine Small.Janine created the
Fishing Sisters Program after many years of
passionate fly fishing with close friends whom she affectionately calls
her
“Fishing Sisters.”The
women met as
volunteer fly fishing instructors for Casting for Recovery, a nonprofit
organization offering free weekend retreats for breast cancer survivors
(www.castingforrecovery.org).The circle of fishing
sisters continues to grow each year and includes a network of some of
the
finest independent women guides and instructors in the country.
